GSA/SBA SMALL BUSINESS PROCUREMENT FAIR The General Services Administration's (GSA) Property Development Division and the Small Business Administration (SBA) are sponsoring a Small Business Procurement Fair. The focus is on construction sub-contracting opportunities for the following four (4) projects located within the National Capital Region: Construction of Food and Drug Administration MOD 3 -- CFSAN and CVM Buildings, Major Renovation of the Main Justice Building, Construction of the Unites States Secret Service Superstructure, and Phase II -- Modernization of the Ariel Rios Federal Building. These projects are scheduled for Fiscal Year 1997 award. The event will be held at the National Building Museum located at 440 E Street, NW, Washington, DC, on Tuesday, March 18, 1997, at 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In addition to the actual Procurement Fair, the event's agenda includes registration, introductions, SBA program services, bonding program initiatives, presentations and networking. All interested small business, women-owned and 8(a) certified firms located within the National Capital Region (Washington, DC; Prince George's and Montgomery Counties in Maryland; Cities of Alexandria, Falls Church, and Fairfax in Virginia and Counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William and Loudoun in Virginia) are invited to attend. GSA will have technical project representatives available to provide an overview of the scope of these four (4) construction projects. SBA will provide specialists in the area of bonding and financing for technical assistance.
