This project consists of refinishing the existing Exterior Insulated Finish System (EIFS) siding and soffits at the Anchorage VMF. The work consists of pressure washing all surfaces to be refinished, patch damaged surfaces, repair and seal cracks, prime surfaces, if required by manufacturer, of successive coats and apply waterproofing and textured finish coats. Construction is estimated to be between $100,000-$200,000. Completion is 90 calendar days after notice to proceed is issued. Criteria for qualification of General/Painting contractors will be based on but not limited to 1) A minimum of five years as general/painting contractor; 2) Satisfactory completion of a minimum of three similar projects valued at over $100,000; 3) Ability to obtain bonding in the State of Alaska.
