The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a quantity of one (1) double tilt heating holder for use in Phillips EM430 and CM300/Compustage electron microscopes. The unit must be a Gatan part number 652-TaM or equal, double tilt heating (1000 degrees Centigrade), with tantalum furnace and motorized second tilt. The heating holder must obtain 25-1000 degrees Centigrade, and maintain high temperature stability and high spatial resolution. The holder must be able to integrate with existing Phillips and Gatan instrumentation.
