Following exceptions: The headings of the Standard Forms 255 and 254 themselves; responses to items within the forms which cannot fit on an unaltered form if any of the pitches are used (e.g. SF255 Item 4 personnel by discipline or SF 254 Item 11 project example listing); and graphic elements (organization charts, graphs, matrices, checklists, etc) need not adhere to the Arial 12 restriction. The intent of the limitations is to solicit information which can be read with ease, and respondents are requested to comply both with the limitations defined above and with intent.
