The Government will provide all needed supplies, equipment, lab space, and living quarters for performing work under this contract. Place of performance is at a remote camp site in Alaska with no road access. Term of contract will be for six months (4/97 -- 9/97) with an option to extend for an additional six months. Contractor will complete tasks under the proposed contract entirely at the camp site. Contractor will be responsible for day-to-day fish culture and associated activity at LPW and be involved in a variety of research activities that include fresh and saltwater culture systems. Tasks will inculde feeding fish, maintaining fish tank incubation and water chiller systems, tagging fish, and setting up and maintaining coded-wire tagging equipment. This is a 100% small business set-aside. Responses to this notice will only be accepted from small businesses.
