FREQUENCY UPCONVERTERS-INCREASE THE QUANTITY OF FREQUENCY UPCONVERTERS -- CONTRACT DAAB07-92-C-A507 The HT-MT Modernization Program, Contract DAAB07-92-C-A507, will be modified to increase the quantity of the Frequency Upconverters by 150 each. The Upconverters required for this acquisition must be form, fit and functionally compatible with other equipment on the contract. The Government does not currently possess the necessary technical drawings to enable competition for the Frequency Upconverters. Harris Corporation developed these upconverters specifically for the HT-MT Modernization Program. Harris is the only source that has the combined technical documentation, resources and facilities necessary to build this equipment and satisfy the Government's requirement. This is a sole source acquisition with Harris Corporation, Melbourne, FL authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(i). This is for information only and not to be considered a request for offer-proposal.
