Fax No. 315-330-2555-2555 Furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary to provide grounds maintenance services. The services to be provided include spring clean up, cutting grass, vegetation (weed) cutting and removal, shrub trimming, shrub transplanting, flower planting, flower bed maintenance, fertilization, turf renovation, fall cleanup and other miscellaneous services at various locations at Rome Laboratory, Rome NY, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and drawings. The solicitation Number F30602-97-Q-0126 will be issued on or about 5 Mar 97. Award will be made on or about 15 Apr 97. This procurement shall be awarded for Basic year and four option years. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear significant concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. Routine questions are not considered to be "significant concerns" and should be communicated directly to the Contracting Officer, E.J. Rena, Phone 315/330-7518. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the contracting officer or program manager, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposal or in the source selection process. The Ombudsman should only be contacted with issues or problems that have not been previously brought to the attention of the Contract Specialist/Contracting Officer and could not be satisfactorily resolved at that level.
