V -- LODGING-HOTEL SOL 7-4072 POC Sandy Souders, Lawrence Frazier (301) 713-0854 The U.S. Dept. of Commerce/International Trade Administration has a requirement for lodging and conference facilities for approximately twenty-five (25) participants attending a training course scheduled in Washington, D.C. on July 19 through August 8, 1997. A few participants will arrive on or about July 19th and the rest will arrive on July 20th and depart on or about August 8th. Conference space will be needed to accommodate 30 participants in a U-shaped setting. The following A/V equipment will be needed: overhead projector, screen, and flip chart with ample supply of paper. The selected hotel must meet the following criteria: 1) Be three (3) blocks or less from a Metro subway stop; 2) Be no more than twenty (20) minutes commuting time from U.S. Dept. of Commerce, 14th & Constitution Ave., NW., Washington, D.C.; 3) Sleeping rooms; 4) Fitness center, but not required; 5) Smoke detectors; 6) Restaurant on*site, but not required.
