The synopsis published on January 31, 1997 is amended as follows: This is a two part requirement. Part one is for the purchase (for test purposes), maintenance, and relocation of top loading H-Axis clothes washing machines for a base period with four one-year options. The estimated quantity of top loading H-Axis washing machines is 1,230 each for delivery to Fort Hood, Texas. The annual estimated machine months of service (maintenance and relocations) are 15,708 (machine quantity times twelve months). Part two is for the provision of dryer services for a base period with four one-year options. Estimated quantities of machine months for the dryers remain unchanged from the original synopsis. The anticipated type of contract is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. Multiple awards for part one and part two of the anticipated solicitation will be considered. (0059)
