The work includes, but is not limited to waterfront/marine construction; bank stabilization; site utilities; paving and grading; site and building demolition; rehabilitation of a residential structure; and construction of a pre-engineered Shops Building. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with Specification No. 02- 001-92 and Drawing No. 02-001-92 (Sheets 1 -- 85). This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
