This Screening Information Request (SIR) is to prequalify vendors for Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR-9) projects in the FAA Eastern Region. The following is a list of upcoming ASR-9 projects for FY-97: 1. Washington DC- Price range $500,000 -- $1,500,000. 2. White Plains, NY- Price range $500,000 -- $1,000,000. 3. Lynchburg, VA.- Price range $500,000 -- $1,000,000. Vendors will be evaluated on their technical capability and past performance. The vendor must demonstrate his/her technical capability as follows: A. FAA experience/ASR-9 Experience. B. Work on Airports. C. Concrete. D. Structural Steel Tower Erection. E. Site Preparation. F. Small Building Erection. G. Electrical Installation, including High Voltage, Engine Generators and UPS. Past performance information will be identified in the Contractor's Screening Information Request (CSIR) form. Vendors interested in pre-qualifying should fax a request to (718) 995-5685 to receive a CSIR form. The CSIR form should be available on March 7, 1997.
