Shuttlesworth (717) 861-8485 (Site Code DAHA36) The work shall consist of, but not limited to, all plant, labor, tools, devices, materials, supervision, and transportation to complete the excavation and concrete work for a slab on grade configuration for an approximate 135' x 90' Pennsylvania Army National Guard Tank Maintenance Facility located in Area 12 of Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Pennsylvania. The successful Contractor shall prepare the site for the concrete slabs of the main structure and the supporting compressor structure, to include any necessary excavation for leveling, footers, manholes, placing and compacting the stone base, forming, pouring, and trowel finishing the concrete slab, The Contractor will also be responsible for excavating and placing all plumbing and electrical stubs, locating and placing all anchor bolts for the building and overhead crane structures. This 12" deep slab consists of approximately 650 cubic yards of 5,000 psi, fiber reinforced Portland Concrete Cement which shall be Government-furnished, Contractor-Installed. The Contractor will supply his own forming materials and will be responsible for all backfill, compaction, and regrade upon completion of the concrete work. The performance period is estimated at thirty (30) calendar days. The estimated construction range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation shall be issued as an Invitation for Bid with a projected bid opening date of 04 APR 97. A site visit is strongly encouraged by this Agency due to the criticality of the utility lines in the proposed site area.
