(Site Code DAHA36) The work shall consist of, but not limited to all plant, labor, tools, devices, materials, supervision, and transportation to complete the erection of a Government-Furnished, Contractor-Installed, Star Building systems, 135' X 90' prefabricated metal building shell. The work is to be performed for The Pennsylvania Army National Guard and sited in Area 12 of Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Pennsylvania. Work includes the erection of red-iron framework, placement of metal sheeting on the walls and roof of the main structure and overhang, installation of insulation, installation of power ventilators in the roof, and installation of overhead garage doors and personnel doors. The Contractor will be responsible to complete the installation of all metal trim as part of the building shell. The successful Contractor should be a certified Star Building erector, thereby able to provide the PAARNG with a standardized warranty for the GFCI metal building. The erection of the building is separate from the concrete and excavation work, but will be a "follow-on" portion in the complete building process. The tentative finish date for the excavation and concrete portion is mid to late June of 1997. The performance period is estimated at ninety (90) calendar days for this portion. The estimated construction range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation shall be issued as an invitation for bid with a projected bid opening date of 05 APR 97.
