The work consists of the upgrade of 40 existing campsites by widening existing turnouts, lining existing campsites and turnouts with treated timber, providing screenings in campsites, new tables, picnic table canopies, utility tables, and pedestal grills, and regrading and establishing turf adjacent to rehabilitated campsites. Work also includes placement of rip-rap, landscape timbers, and screening to existing walkway and stairs to swimbeach at Blue Ridge Park. Estimated magnitude of work is between 100,000.00 and 250,000.00. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about March 26, 1997 at cost of $51.00 for solicitation and full size drawings; $43.00 for solicitation and half size drawings; $24.50 for solicitation only (charges are NONREFUNDABLE). Solicitationdocuments will be made available upon written request (NO FAXs) to include check or money order payable to F.A.O., U. S. Army, LRD, COE, and mailed to the Contracting Division at the above address. In order to receive documents in a timely manner, requests should be received by March 14, 1997.
