Tedell (309) 782-3811 A requirement for Commercial off the shelf
control processors to support live fire training at Fort Stewart. In
accordance with the statement of work (SOW) for range control hardware.
The processors and interface devices shall control all targetry on the
range from both a portable and stationary radio frequency (RF) control
processors. The system shall consist of the following items: RF control
console (RFCC), printer, Hand Held Controller (HHC), M31A1 target
interface device (TID) ATTS interface device (AID), moving target
systems interface device (MTSID) new equipment training, installation
and testing repair and technical manuals. The proposed action is for
supplies for which the Government does not own specifications and
drawings. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item are
encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer and
provide supporting evidence which will permit their participation in
this solicitation. For use on the Remoted Target Systems. FOB is
Destination. All or part of this action is an unfunded FY97
requirement. Estimated issue date of this solicitation is 032596.
Failure to properly address requests for solicitation in accordance
with this CBD notice will result in non-receipt of the solicitation
package. Failure to properly address bids/offers in accordance with
solicitation instructions may result in a late bid which cannot be
