Specialist, (404) 842-6743 The Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) contemplates the award of a firm-fixed price contract
to evaluate the virulence of CDC-selected isolates of Mycobacterium
tuberculosis in a murine model of tuberculosis and to produce in vivo
grown tubercle bacilli for studies to be conducted in CDC laboratories.
The contemplated period of performance is 12 months with One Option
year. The Standard Industrial Code is 8071, Unrestricted, Size Standard
$5 million. The scheduled issue date is approximately March 31, 1997.
