C -- DEEP MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION SOL 268 DUE 031797 POC Chris Donges, 510/251-2888 ext. 3440 CH2M HILL will procure a subcontractor to install monitoring wells in the San Gabriel Basin, County of Los Angeles, California. The work will be performed under CH2M HILL's ARCSWEST contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. CH2M HILL estimates that the successful bidder may be required to install between 2 to 5 wells, each up to 500 feet deep. The wells will be installed as cluster wells or multiport wells using mud rotary drilling methods. The work includes decontamination of equipment and personnel, and transportation and disposal of all waste material. The work is expected to start between April and June 1997. (0062)
