R -- GSA/NCR/PBS 1997 SMALL BUSINESS PROCUREMENT FAIR POC Janelle Showalter, Kathleen Frame, Bonnie Echoles, Dee Stuart, Claire Cashwell, Ann O'Neill The General Services Administration's Public Buildings Service (PBS) in the National Capital Region (NCR), Washington, D. C., will host a 1997 Small Business Procurement Fair on March 25, 1997, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Small Business Procurement Fair will be held at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium located on Constitution Avenue between 12th and 13th Streets, N.W., Washington, D. C. The NCR includes the jurisdiction of the District of Columbia, Montgomery and Prince George's Counties in Maryland, the cities of Alexandria, Falls Church, and Fairfax in Virginia, and the Counties in Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William and Loudoun in Virginia. The Procurement Fair will include face-to-face counseling by NCR/PBS' procurement officials and specific seminars on "Government Requirements for Accounting Records", "the Architect-Engineer Process", and "Bidding on Construction Contracts". PBS/NCR is seeking small business, small disadvantaged, women-owned and 8(a) certified contractors interested in doing business with the Federal Government. Firms interested in offering the following services must send a Letter of Interest for attending the procurement fair. You should also include in your Letter of Interest, your selection of ONE of the above seminars.
