Helicopter Sling Services -- East Glacier Trail Project. The work will consist of transporting timbers, dimensional lumber, aggregate and miscellaneous hardware from two locations located in the Mendenhall Recreation Area to points along the East Glacier Trail. The trail is a three mile loop trail. The Contractor will furnish ground crews at both pick up and drop off locations, and all items necessary to move materials to project sites along the trail, except for Government-furnished bulk lift bags. The Contractor will also provide ground crews to direct traffic along the Mendenhall Glacier Spur Road during flight operations. These services are needed between May 19, 1997 and the end of July, 1997. This proposed procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses.
