V -- LODGING-HOTEL/MOTEL SOL 7-4073 POC Sandy Souders, Lawrence Frazier (301) 713-0854 The U.S. Dept. of Commerce/International Trade Administration has a requirement for lodging and conference facilities for approximately 25 participants attending a training course scheduled in Washington, D.C. on June 7 thru June 18, 1997. The participants will arrive on or about June 7th and depart on or about June 18th. Conference space will be needed to accommodate 30 participants in a U-shaped setting. The following A/V equipment will be needed: overhead projector, screen and flipchart with ample supply of paper. The selected hotel must meet the following criteria: 1) Be three (3) blocks or less from a Metro subway stop; 2) Be no more than twenty (20) minutes commuting time from the Dept. of Commerce, 14th & Constitution Ave., NW., Washington, D.C.; 3) Sleeping rooms; 4) Conference facility on-site; 5) Fitness center, but not required; 6) Smoke detectors; 7) Restaurant on-site, but not required.
