This construction project consist of renovating the existing fuel cell for personnel safety during aircraft maintenance. The project incorporates a new office with latrines and locker facilities isolated from the hazardous location. All electric and mechanical devices in the fuel cell will be explosion proof to meet the hazardous location classification per the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). A new aqueous foam fire suppression system, with water storage tank and fire pumps located in the adjacent building, will be added. The project also will replace the existing hanger doors with new motorized sliding hanger doors. The magnatude of this project is $1.0M to $5.0M.
