Owens (757) 322-4500, Additional Contact Viki Pond (757) 322-4474 The work includes the renovation of the First and Second Decks of NH-2 and the First and Second Decks of NH-3 South, the construction of a two story brick and block addition between Buildings NH-2 and NH-3 and site improvements associated with the addition. The interior of Building NH-2, NH-3 South, and associated ancillary spaces will be demolished; exterior windows, doors, roofs, mechanical and electrical systems will be replaced. The work will involve the removal and disposal of materials coated with lead containing paint and exterior materials that have tested positive as asbestos containing. New interior finishes, acoustical ceiling materials, doors, aluminum windows, and incidental related work. This is an RFP which requires the submission of Technical and Price Proposals. Technical proposals will contain the following evaluation factors: 1. Corporate Experience and Past Performance, 2. Corporate Resources and Financial Capability, and 3. Support for Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business and Women Owned Small Business. Plans and Specifications will be available on or about 31 March 1997. The estimated date for receipt of proposals will be available and issued on a first-come, first-serve basis. A check or money order for $25.00 payable to the Treasury of the United States is required as non-refundable charge for each set of proposal data. Written requests must be received in the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction no less than five (5) working days prior to the date for receipt of offers if you want the proposal data mailed. If your check is received less than five (5) working prior to the date for receipt of offers, we will attempt to contact you and afford you the opportunity to pick up a package.
