This synopsis/solicitation is hereby modified as follows: (1) The ATTN: line is added at the above OFFADD section to complete and correct the Office Address. Please send all proposals to this address which directs correspondence to the Contract Specialist. (2) A typographical error appears in the Description (DESC) section. The error appears as an incorrect PROPOSAL SUBMISSION DUE DATE. The proposal submission deadline is changed from 13 March 1997 to 17 March 1997. Therefore, the applicable sentence should read: PROPOSALS shall be Submitted IN WRITING (via US Mail, or courier service) to the attention of the Contract Specialist, with reference made to Sol. No. DAAB07-97-R-G053, not later than 17 March 1997, 15:30 EST. (3) The following MINIMUM REQUIREMENT CHARACTERISTICS are added: (A) Current per phase (maximum at full load): 27 amperes for 208-volt input; 30 amperes for 240-volt input; 15 amperes for 460-volt input. (B) Power Ouput: Voltage variable from 30 to 45 volts dc. (C) Current to 140 Amperes. (D) Rate Controls: "Course" and "Fine". (E) Timing Control: Adjustable for automatic cutoff at end of charging cycle. (F) Charging Time (completly discharged battery) -- 15 hours or less.
