Garcia The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the Center for Health Workforce Studies, One University Plaza, Rensselaer, NY 12144. This procurement shall be process in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to conduct a study design and analysis of data obtained from residency program directors and physicians newly completing residency training in all specialist in New York State in 1997. The contractor shall: meet with the Bureau project officer; prepare plan of action for the development and analysis of data; submit monthly progress reports on data development; submit final report of study analyses to project officer; submit publication ready paper. The Center for Health Workforce Studies is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is one year. A Justification or Other than Fulland Open Competition is on file. The award shall be made using simplified acquisition procedures. See Note(s): 22. (0063)
