COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 6,1997 PSA#1796SPECIAL NOTICE -- 1997 TACOM/INDUSTRY LOGISTICS SYMPOSIU The U.S. Army
Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, with administrative support
from the Michigan chapter of the American defense preparedness
association (ADPA), will host the 1997 TACOM/industry logisitics data
symposium April 15-17, 1997 at the northfield Hilton hotel located in
Troy, Michigan. This year's theme is 'logistics reform and the ($1.8
billion) promise ". This annual symposium brings together government
and industry employees from throughout North America to network and
discuss issues and concerns relevant to the constantly changing field
of Acquisition Logistics. It offers formal government and industry
presentations, workshops, displays, and demonstrations. This year's
agenda features many notable speakers. Scheduled as keynote speakers
are Mr. Keith Charles, deputy assistant secretary for plans, programs,
and policy, Mr John rittenhouse, senior VP (retired), General
Electric, and Col. Diana beardsley, USAF. If you would like to receive

reception, continental breakfasts, lunches, coffee breaks, the
symposium proceedings and other logistical administrative expenses.

April 1, 1997 to guanrantee the $220.00 fee; after April 1ST the
registration fee goes up to $250.00. A block of rooms have been
reserved at the Hilton for those who require overnight lodging 14-17
April at a special symposium rate of $69 per day for the government
attendees and $8 9 per day for industry attendees. In order to receive
these rates reservations must be made by 24 Mar 97. Please Call the

identify yourself as an attendee of the symposium to receive the
