Work consists of exterior painting of existing, new and unpainted surfaces on facilities at Eglin AFB on an "as needed" basis. Buildings to be painted are to be identified individual delivery orders issued against this contract. Contract also includes surface preparation including sandblasting and removal of lead-base paint. Contractor shall be responsible for knowing all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations governing lead-base paint abatement and hazardous waster disposal. Some preaward submittals concerning lead-base paint abatement certifications will be required. Project further involves replacement of window glass in certain buildings. Contract shall be for a Basic Year and two One-Year Options. Estimated dollar range for each year is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business.
