This project consists replacement of existing pneumatic control system with DDC control system as specified, providing additional reheat coils, modifications to existing ductwork, including new diffusers and flex ducts and balancing system when work is completed. Construction is estimated to be between $100,000 -- $200,000. Completion is 120 calendar days after notice to proceed is issued. There will be a preposal meeting on March 26, 1997, 2:00 pm at the Fairbanks General Mail Facility, 5400 Mail Trail, Fairbanks AK 99709-9998. Criteria for qualification of general contractors will be based on but not limited to 1) A minimum of five years as general contractor; 2) Satisfactory completion of a minimum of three similar projects valued at over $200,000; 3) Ability to obtain bonding in the State of Alaska.
