16 -- VH-3D SERVICE LIFE UPGRADE/CNSU POC Contact, Alvin Hill, Phone (703)604-2000 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a contract with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for the procurement of supplies and services to update the communication, navigation and survivability system on the VH-3 Executive Aircraft. In addition, NAVAIR intends to procure supplies and services for a Service Life Extension Program on the same aircraft. These two efforts, which have been prototyped by Sikorsky Aircraft will complete the planned CNSU/SLEP lot procurements. Sikorsky Aircraft is the manufacturer of the VH-3 Aircraft and the designer, developer and manufacturer of the CNSU/SLEP upgrade kit and is the only known company capable of performing the subject effort. -- NAVAIR Synopsis No. 30061-97.
