Ultra high pressure pump shall have the following characteristics: Positive-displacement, quintuplex (five plumger) pump capable of at least 9.3 gpm at 40,000 psi. Five plungers are required to smooth out pressure fluctuations. Diesel powered, with minimum 100 gallon fuel tank. To be mounted on one continuous platform with attached lifting pads having a safety factor of 5:1. Integral control panel shall have the following: Engine start & stop; trottle adjust; engine rpm gage; engine temp gage with shutdown; voltmeter, hourmeter (engine run time); fuel gage; air pressure gage; pump low water warning light; pump low pressure warning light. Single high pressure water outlet connection (9/16" Autoclave high pressure water fitting). Inlet water booster pump to ensure positive flow into the pump. Integral inlet filtration system to 5 micron absolute. Rupture discs to prevent rated operating pressure from being exceeded. Ajustable relief valve to prevent premature failure of rupture discs. 50,000 psi outlet water pressure gage, oil filled. Quantity is 1 each. Data items required are: 2 copies of operation/maintenance manuals, OSHA certification; certification that pump does not contain PCBs or asbestos and pump must be mercury free.
