The work consists of grapple piling logging slash and vegetative material with a "lift and pile" (grapple excavator) mechanism rather than a "push and pile' mechanism. Project is on approximately 1480 acres on the Crescent Ranger District. Approximate start date is 04/01/97. Contract time is approximately 150 days.
