F -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR PCB AND HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL FOR THE NAVY PUBLIC WORKS CENTER, PEARL HARBOR, OAHU, HAWAII SOL N62755-96-B-2950 DUE 052397 POC S. Sakanoi, (808) 474-3385; Contracting Officer: A. Yuen, (808) 474- 3385. Indefinite Quantity Contract for PCB and Hazardous Waste Disposal for Navy Public Works Center, Pearl Harbor, Oahu, Hawaii. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, packaging, additional laboratory analysis required for treatment/disposal, and the compilation and submission of all documentation required to perform the disposal of polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB), PCB contaminated material, and hazardous wastes off Government property in accordance with all Federal, State, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations, 40 CFR 761, and the contract specification. The Contractor shall be solely responsible to ascertain the extent to which these laws and regulations affect the execution of the contract. The Government considers all wastes to be disposed PCB, PCB contaminated material, or hazardous wastes. The contract term will be base period of one year plus four option years. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed60 months. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. The Government may award this contract to more than one contractor. The Government will give fair consideration to all awardees in placing orders based on criteria stated in the solicitation. This contract will replace a contract for similar services awarded in 1994 for a maximum amount of $545,696.50 per year. We will include information about the current contract and the incumbent contractor (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) with the solicitation package. We do not require requests under the Freedom of Information Act for this general information. SIC Code 4953 applies.
