Only offers from Allison Authorized Maintenance Centers will be accepted. Repairs and overhauls are to be performed by an Allison authorized maintenance center and FAA certified repair station. All repairs and overhauls shall be to the latest configuration and standards in accordance with applicable Allison maintenance manuals, service letters, service bulletins, and authorized maintenance center information letters (AMC-IL) with changes in effect at the time the engines are repaired or overhauled. The same Government owned engines will be repaired or overhauled and returned to the Government. It is intended to award an indefinite delivery requirements contract for an initial period of one (1) year with four (4) -- one year option periods, which, if exercised could extend the performance period to a total of five (5) years. All offers received will be evaluated for the initial one (1) year period plus the four (4) option periods. This contract is subject to the Service Contract Act and the place of performance is unknown. Wage determinations have been requested for Mesa, AZ; Whittier, CA; Long Beach, CA; Oakland, CA; West Palm Beach, FL; Lafayette, LA; St.Louis, MO; Millville, NJ; West Chester, PA; Arlington, TX; Dallas, TX; and Houston, TX. The contracting officer will request wage determinations for additional localities if requested to do so in writing by 4:30 PM, Central Standard Time, May 9, 1997.
