The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is seeking legal support to assist the Department's attorneys and the Department of Justice (DOJ) in pursuing affirmative litigation against owners receiving the benefit of FHA insured financing and/or Section 8 assistance. Actions which may be taken but not limited to, are; Enforcement of Regulatory Agreement, Violations of Section 8 HAP contract, Administrative Sanctions, and other Statutory Remedies. It is anticipated that the contract requirements will be in three categories: project review, case development, and litigation support. The Department reserves the right to make more than one contract award under this solicitation. An Indefinite Quantity Type Contract is contemplated. A minimum of $25,000 per 12-month ordering period is also contemplated. The period of performance is three (3) years. The solicitation will be available on April 11, 1997.
