The work includes construction of: four three-story dormitory building complexex; parking lots accommodating 146 cars, and all associated site work; a two-story lounge building; a one story laundry facility; site work. The four eomplexes are each comprised of two to three smaller three-story buildings. the basic construction includes load-bearing light-gage steel framing at exterior walls with stucco and brick veneer, light-gage steel joists with plywood deck and cementtitious underlayment, load-bearing and non load-bearing metal frame partions, concrete grade beams and timber pile foundations. Roof structure is of wood trusses and plywood deck. There are 5 Bid Options in this project. There will be a 90 days to exercise Bid Options. Except when it is determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the Government's best interests, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. Estimated cost of project is $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00. Estimated duration of the contract is 365 calendar days for completion. (0063)
