Ryan (518) 786-4986 (Site Code DAHA30) Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals to construct a Jet Fuel Storage Facility at the Gabreski Air National Guard Base, Westhampton Beach, New York as per specifications and drawings provided by the government, abiding to all codes and contracting clauses. The facility will consist of two (2) 2,500 BBL JP-8 fuel storage tanks, pumphouse/control building, fuel loading and offloading systems, product recovery system POL Operations Building, Liquid Oxygen (LOX) Storage Facility, Vehicle Operator Maintenance Building, refueler parking area, fire protection water line improvements and demolition of the existing POL Facility. Additive Bid Items (ABI's) will also be applicable. The ABI's will consist of items which may/may not be included in the construction contract. The potential ABI's are listed as follows: 1) provide stainless steel fuel piping for all downstream fuel lines; 2) POL Operations Building; 3) AFFF generating system; 4) Pumphouse enclosure with HVAC and controls; 5) LOX storage shelter; 6) Vehicle Operator's Maintenance Building; 7) Six (6) unloading hoses with disconnects and hose storage rack and Panatograps at loading islands; 8) One truck loading and one truck unloading island; 9) Concrete dike walls and containment slabs (in lieu of ballast dikes). All ABI's will also be consolidated per specification and drawings provided by the government, abiding to all codes and contracting clauses. The applicable Standard Industrial Code (SIC) and Federal Supply Code (FSC) are 1541 and Y129 respectively. The location of work is listed above. The proposed project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. IFB: DAHA30-97-B-0002 will be issued on/about 17 Mar 97, with a bid opening date on/about 16 Apr 97. The performance time for this project is scheduled for 365 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
