Baker, III (301) 619-2035 (Site Code DAMD17) The U.S. Army Medical Research & Materiel Command anticipates awarding a sole source, firm-fixed price type contract for licensed anthrax vaccine, adsorbed from Michigan Biologics Products Institute (MBPI). Contract will be for a base period of one year plus four one-year options. The solicitation will be issued approximately 27 March 1997. Justification: MBPI is the only licensed anthrax vaccine producer in the U.S., according to the FDA. All responsible sources must provide written documentation demonstrating identical capabilites with the MBPI licensed anthrax vaccine, to the address above. See Note 22. (0065)
