Kurokawa (217)373-6748 (Site Code DACA88) USACERL requires services to conduct resistance and magnetic geophysical surveys at Army City and at least five (5) other historic farmstead archaeological sites at Fort Riley, Kansas; and to prepare a written, illustrated report on the methods, results, and conclusions of a the geophysical surveys. The period of service for this work shall conclude no later than 31 December 1997. The proposed procurement will be on a sole- source basis. The USACERL Contracts Office intends to negotiate a firm- fixed price purchase order with Dr. Lewis Somers. Services to be provided will be accomplished through a simplified acquisition procedure. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number DACA88-97-Q-0146 will be issued on or about 21 March 1997 with a required closing date on or about 11 April 1997.
