C -- PT/OT ADDITION (V) POC Rich Hague, 503-273-5210 The following A/E Design Project, "PT/OT Addition, NHCU, (V)" at the Vancouver Division of the VA Medical Center, Portland, Oregon. This project is set aside for small emerging business concerns only. An emerging small business is one whose average annual receipts for the past 3 years did not exceed 1.25 million dollars. SIC 8711. Provide design services including Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Landscaping to create a 2000 SF addition to Building 1, NHCU Building, Vancouver. A/E scope includes: Investigative survey, preliminary & subsequent detailed cost estimates, design development, contract documents and construction period services for this new area consisting of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy areas. Design is to be compatible with existing structures. Existing HVAC, electrical and other utility systems are to be verified to ensure their capability of servicing this new area. Final design will enable use of this area as a consolidated clinic for PT/OT and Kinesiotherapy areas. Drawings are to be done on CAD compatible with AutoCad version 13. A copy of the drawings are to be submitted to the VA on disc at the end of the project and considered property of the VA. The Construction Cost Range is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. Selection and award is subject to the availability of funds in fiscal year 1997.
