Contractor will manage the operation of the NMFS Regional Forum, represent NMFS in Columbia Basin Fish & Wildlife Authority (CBFWA) meetings, and prepare the Implementation Chapter of the Snake River Recovery Plan. Respondents to this notice must indicate knowledge of 1) state, tribal, and federal entities involved in fish and wildlife management in the Basin; 2) knowledge of federal and NMFS practices and procedures; 3) knowledge of individuals involved in fish and wildlife management and hydropower operations; 4) knowledge of objectives and activites of the Regional Forum and CBFWA; 5) knowledge of federal Columbia River power systrem operations and issues; and 6) knowledge of Bonneville Power Admin. fish and wildlife budget elements and procedures. Interested contractor must also 1) possess a professional degree or equivalent in fisheries biology, management, or related field; 2) ability to work with a wide variety of parties; 3) ability to organize and facilitate intergovernmental meetings; 4) ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing; and 5) ability to use standard word processing and spreadsheet software. Term of contract will be for one year with an option to renew for three additional years.
