This is a modification to the previous synopsis issued on 5 March 1997. The first IQ Construction Contract of the three will be awarded under a firm-fixed price typed arrangement, and will contain full plans and specifications for bidding purposes. A 100% design is not necessary. The seed project is for the Replacement of Condensate Collection system at Naval Air Station Jacksonville. The work includes as a minimum demolition of steam line,installing new steam lines,modifying existing and fabricating new supports. The minimum guarantee for the award of N68931-97-R-0027 is the seed project for the base year only. The award for the other two IQ Contracts is $100,000 for base year only. Other work which may be for renovation, alteration, and reapair includes Facilities, Utility Systems, and other similar types of facilities. (0065)
