This is a Presolicitation Notice that a solicitation will be issued for the installation of approximately 76,000 Vertical Linear Feet of round timber piles, 6,400 Linear Feet of treated wales, 16 tons of tie rods, and 10,500 tons of stone fill to form a cribbing dike system. The anticipated contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract. The estimated cost range of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation is unrestricted with a SIC Code of 1629. Time period for contract completion is 487 days after notice to proceed. Plans and specifications should be available on or about 26 March 1997 with a date for bid opening on or about 28 April 1997 at 1400 hours.
