25 -- VEHICULAR EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES SOL FCAH-C2-970025-B-N DUE 032897 POC Brenda Sajous 703-308-4665 and Christy Morrison 703-305-3097 This Solicitation is for the New World Wide Basic issuance of Federal Supply Schedule 25, Part I, Section A -- Vehicular Equipment and Accessories for Passenger Vehicles and Trucks for a 5 year Multiple Award Schedule with one 5 year option. The following Special Item Numbers (SIN) are included: 025-101 mirrors and assemblies for all passenger vehicles and trucks (clear mirrors are excluded. anti-glare mirrors are required), 025-102 vehicular covers, bed liners (rubberized and spray on are accepted) i.e. pick-up trucks, vans, cargo, dumps etc., 025-103 tarps (various types of trucks), cargo covers (includes, but not limited to tie-downs, enclosed covers, and truck camper tops), 025-104 Truck mounted hoist, tow hooks, trailer towing packages, 025-105 tool boxes (for pick-up trucks and cargo vans), 025-106 mud flaps (for all passenger vehicles and trucks), 025-107 remote control deadbolt locks for cargo vans, 025-108 security systems for all passenger vehicles and trucks, 025-109 law enforcement emergency signal systems consisting of sirens, light bars, spot and flood lights, beacon warning devices, PA speakers & systems and control consoles, 025-110 law enforcement vehicle barriers and shields, rollover protection, vehicle restraint systems (for the in-side of the vehicle only), 025-111 electric vehicular lights and fixtures (for all passenger vehicles and trucks), and SIN 025-112 equipment for service vehicles such as bins, cabinets, and/or drawers (for the interior part of the van to organize supplies etc.). Significant changes include non-mandatory Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery type contract and Multiple Award Schedule. Also, a Maximum Order (MO) is established based on the concessions granted by the Contractor. The Contractor is not obligated to honor any request from the agency to order outside that MO as stated in FAR Clause 52.216-19. The Federal Supply Classes are 2540, 2590, 6220, and 6350.
