The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Coastal Systems Station intends to procure two Each Field Repair kits, P/N DLTFRPSKT3000, from Deutsch Metal Components, 14800 South Figueroa St., Gardena, CA 90248 on a sole source basis. These kits are required to maintain the LCAC in the Fleet and at Coastal Systems Station. This field repair kit is required as only high quality stainless steel Deutsch pipe fittins are used on the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) piping systems. These fittings are used as they have proven to be highly reliable and can withstand the severe operating environment of the LCAC. Note 22 applies. (0065)
