Melanson, 703-325-6096; Technical Point of Contact: Jerry Edwards, 703-704-2416 NONLETHAL TECHNOLOGY ANALYSIS FOR THE MDARS INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PROGRAM. The US Army CECOM intends to award a sole source contract with Science & Engineering Associates, Inc in McLean, Virginia for this effort to support the Weapons Systems Manager for Physical Security Equipment. This effort provides an analysis of technologies with potential for a nonlethal response to detected security intrusions at Department of Defense installations. Scope of the analysis shall be all technologies with potential for integration with a mobile security platform in an interior or exterior environment. The analysis must include potential applications, hazards, engineering problems and potential solutions, and potential costs of engineering development and integration. All work to be performed under an anticipated fixed price purchase order. The period of performance will be for seven (7) months. Simplified Purchases Procedures via written quotation will be used.
