A -- ELECTRONIC ATTACK (EA) SYSTEM POC Tommy G. Thomas, Contract Specialist, Code 3240.TG, Mary Ann Carpenter (202) 767-2983 The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is seeking to locate sources having the capability to design and produce an Electronic Attack (EA) system meeting certain requirements. The system shall be used to protect small relatively low radar cross section (RCS) class ships. The primary function of the EA system is to provide a counterterminal capability. As a secondary function, the system should be capable of providing countertargeting capability. The EA system will only have to perform one of these functions at any one time. The anticipated emitter densities are in the low to moderate range. The system can be comprised of either active or passive onboard capability, off board capability, or combinations of both. The EA system shall interface with a host Electronic Support (ES) system in order to provide for a rapid response capability. Your capabilities in response to this sources sought must be in writing and should be limited to a one page summary relative to your experience with the above described requirements. After receipt of capabilities, NRL may discuss with sources ideas for EA system architectures and performance related to a small ship EA study effort NRL is conducting.
