shock qualification tests on the AN/USG-2 shipboard Cooperative
Engagement Capability (CEC) Common Equipment Set (CES). Shock
qualification testing shall be performed in accordance with the
heavyweight shock test of MIL-S-901D. The test laboratory shall be a
Navy-accepted shock test laboratory with current certification from
Naval Sea Systems Command, Code 03P3, and complete facilities to
perform the required tests (see NAVSEAINST 9491.1C). Part of the CEC
CES qualification testing shall be conducted at sea. The shipboard CES
consists of a data processing terminal, battery back-up converter,
shipboard active antenna, antenna environmental control unit, Test
Maintenance Console, Input/output Converter, CEC training Adapter, and
a Digital Data Recorder. The shock qualification tests shall be
conducted between 10 November 1997 and 5 December 1997. Inspection and
acceptance shall be at the test facility. A written solicitation will
be issued on or about 24 March 1997. When calling, be prepared to
