Improvements consist of: (1) upgrading the A1A2 circuit card cage to accept standard AN/ALQ-184 circuit card assemblies and providing for a protective cover to reduce fluid intrusion that causes corrosion and failures in the A1A2 circuit card cage backplane; and (2) moving the low band drive control components from the A2A1 cold plate and relocating them to the A2A2 section. This upgrade would allow technicians to adjust the forward and aft low band drive control without removing the cold plate.
