The solicitation should be issued on or about 4/14/97 with a 21-day closing period. Rental and servicing of portable flushing toilets under a requirements type contract at various locations on the island of Oahu. Estimated quantity of 400 portable toilets ranging from daily through yearly rental requirements. Response time to place units for short and long term rental must be within twenty-four (24) hours and servicing as specified from one (1) to three (3) times weekly. The contract performance is for the period of 01 August 1997 through 31 July 1998 with two (2) 12 month option periods. Contractor shall be thoroughly familiar with and comply to health and sanitation standards of the State of Hawaii to include the sewer discharge ordinance involved in the performance of the contract. Contractor shall be responsible for all acts of its personnel when on government installations. The Government intends to include the option clause FAR 52.217-8 in the solicitation.
