Commission Headquarters, located at 1801 L Street, N.W., Washington, DC
has a requirement for lodging and conference room facilities within
twelve miles of Dulles Airport, located in Chantilly, Virginia.
Approximately sixty-six sleeping rooms are required from July 13, 1997
to July 18, 1997. At least two of the rooms will be wheelchair
accessible. Two complimentary sleeping rooms are requested. Breakfast,
lunch and dinner will be provided to all overnight guests.
Non-overnight participants will be provided lunch (approximately 10 to
15 people). Alternative meals will be available due to dietary needs.
Coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks should be provided during two
breaks each day. Eight wheelchair accessible conference rooms are
required. One for at least 70, one for at least 35, four for at least
10 and two for at least 20 participants. The room for 70 must be
equipped with a sound system and four lavaliere microphones. All the
meeting rooms will have three moveable tables, six moveable chairs, a
podium, flipchart easel, flipchart pads, a tray large enough for visual
aids and classroom style seating for participants. Three small rooms,
also wheelchair accessible, are needed for reviewing video replays.
Secured storage space is necessary for instructional material, and
audiovisual equipment during the conference. EEOC will at its option
bring its own audiovisual equipment and connect it to the facility's
audiovisual/public address system as necessary. The facility should
provide signs and floor plans. Transportation, including transporation
for disabled individuals, should be available between the facility and
Dulles Airport. The anticipated due date for receipt of proposals is
April 21, 1997 or 21 days after issuance of RFP. All responsive and
responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the
EEOC. The conference site will meet all American with Disabilities Act
Requirements. Requests for the RFP must be submitted in writing to the
