Furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, and materials to perform all work required to furnish and install an infrared natural gas heating system in the high bay area at the Mine Simulation Laboratory (280 feet x 50 feet). All labor and materials shall be furnished by the Contractor. The gas-fired infrared space heaters shall be furnished and installed by the Contractor in accordance with governing codes and be factory recommended for this type of building. The unit shall provide an average inside temperature of 50-65 degrees of the entire Mine Simulation Lab at an outside temperature of 0 degree. The heaters shall be design certified by the AGA and the CGA. The manufacturer shall provide a written limited warranty that covers the emitter tube for a period of three years and all the components utilized in the control assembly of the heater for a period of one (1) year. The heavy one-piece cast iron burner will have a ten (10)-year limited warranty. Solicitation available on or about March 24, 1997. This is 100% percent set-aside for small business. (0066)
